Support the Cemetery Restoration

Recovering the history of East End would not be possible without people doing the hard physical labor of reclamation—pulling ivy, hauling brush,  battling brambles, unearthing headstones. That effort is led by the Friends of East End, an all-volunteer nonprofit working to transform the cemetery into a public site of memory, contemplation, and beauty that honors Richmond's black community and history. Donations to the Friends of East End are tax deductible.
